Mr. Green Africa achieves ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification, and the KEBS Standardization Mark for its recycled pellets

With pride we announce that Mr. Green Africa (MGA) has been certified to three international management system standards and has been granted the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) Standardization Mark for all three of our recycled pellet products.

Certified to international standards

Following independent audits by TNV Global Limited, accredited by the United Accreditation Foundation (UAF), MGA's integrated management system is certified to:

• ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System): consistent, high-quality products and services for our customers

• ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System): managing and reducing the environmental impact of our operations

• ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System): protecting the health and safety of our employees, contractors and collection partners

The certificates cover the provision of high-quality, sustainable plastic recycling services through a holistic process of collection, sorting, washing, pelletizing and sale of recycled materials, ensuring environmental protection and resource efficiency.

KEBS S-Mark for our recycled pellets

KEBS has granted MGA permits to use the Standardization Mark of Quality on:

• Greenpolene – rHDPE Pellets (Permit SM#105679)

• Greenpolene – rPP Pellets (Permit SM#105756)

• Greenteree – rPET Pellets (Permit SM#105749)

The S-Mark gives our customers independent assurance that our recycled pellets are manufactured to a consistent, verified quality.

What this means

These certifications strengthen our position as a trusted supplier of recycled materials to local and international markets. Customers can now count on independently verified systems for quality, environmental performance and workplace safety, alongside our existing commitment as a Certified B Corporation. For the informal waste collectors and communities at the heart of our value chain, they reinforce our commitment to safe, fair and responsible operations.

We are not stopping here: MGA is now working towards ISO 22000 certification.
